memory foam is naturally sensitive to temperature change, which helps it conform to your unique curves. if you purchased your memory foam product during the colder months, let it reach room temperature before use.

yes, electric blankets and heated mattress pads will not negatively impact your topper or mattress in any way!

molded pillows have “holes” or “craters” typically on one side, which is a natural effect of the manufacturing process. when foam is poured into a pillow mold, it’s poured hot. as it cools, tiny air bubbles rise to the top and burst, creating small craters. it’s completely normal and doesn’t affect the performance or quality of the pillow in any way!

any mattress protector is fine to use with our mattress as long as it is breathable. we do not recommend using a mattress protector with plastic, latex, or vinyl.

nüe by Novaform mattresses utilize flame-retardant fibers for protection. rest assured they do not contain any fiberglass. all nüe mattresses pass fire testing to ensure your safety.

mattresses:

mattresses are very tightly packed for shipping purposes, but they can be used just minutes after unfolding. your mattress will naturally reach full expansion in up to 48 hours. don’t worry, you can sleep on your mattress during this process! just be sure to follow the easy unpack instructions when setting up and your mattress will be ready for many nights of deeply restful sleep.

mattress toppers:

mattress toppers are also very tightly packed for shipping purposes. they start unfolding immediately and take about one hour to be ready for use. toppers may take up to 48 hours to fully expand, but you can sleep on it during this process. please DO NOT use anything to help the mattress topper expand! 

pillows:

pillows are ready to use immediately, no set up required. just remove them from the packaging and enjoy!

for best performance, place your mattress on top of a standard box spring or well-ventilated base with slats spaced less than six inches apart.

it’s not recommended to place memory foam mattresses directly on the floor or any other flat solid surface, since this will compromise proper airflow and support.

your topper is designed for use directly on top of a mattress. please do not use your mattress topper with any latex, vinyl, or plastic air mattress or waterbed, or on top of solid wood, plywood, or particle board.

you may notice a slight “new” smell when you first unpack a memory foam product. don’t worry, this is a natural effect for vacuum-packed and sealed memory foam. the smell is completely harmless and will disappear in a short period of time. allowing some time to air out will help, too.

adding a topper to any mattress may or may not require new linens. many of the newer bed linens include a deep fitted bottom sheet, up to 27 inches. these are perfect for the added depth of a mattress topper! most stores that carry bed linens will hold sheets that fit all bed sizes.

it’s your choice! the contoured side provides a lighter cradling comfort but try both sides for the comfort that feels best to you. both sides provide a balance of comfort and support that will relieve pressure points and prevent tossing and turning.

memory foam is not machine-washable or machine-dryable. spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild, clear soap when necessary. be sure to let it air dry completely before covering with pillow or bed linens/sheets. please follow the full care instructions on the product’s label. you may void your warranty if ignored.

color may change over time due to natural oxidation. this is completely normal and does not indicate a problem or loss of comfort or performance.

there’s no need to flip your mattress, but occasional turning (flat rotation) is recommended.

each mattress is compressed into a box for delivery to your doorstep or convenient transportation in most cars.

nüe by Novaform warrants that the fabric cover and foam material in our products will be free from defects in material and workmanship. full details of the warranty are included with each product.

if a defect that is covered by the warranty occurs, nüe by Novaform will repair or replace (at nüe by Novaform’s option) the defective product. if a replacement is required, nüe by Novaform reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or higher quality if the like components are not available. replacements are limited to once during the warranty period. the warranty period is valid from the date of your original purchase; it does not begin again when you receive a replacement. all warranties are null and void if the mattress cover is removed and/or laundered. mattress maintenance includes spot cleaning only.
